Help Our Scottish Mumma Kick Cancer's Butt
Our beloved scottish mumma Gill has been given the dreaded news that she has an aggressive form of breast cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma). Gill is a mumma to her baby boy Jack and wife to the love of her life Stu.
Gill and Stu moved to Australia from Scotland leaving their families behind, not knowing that after their baby Jack was born Covid would prevent their families from meeting him. It has been 2 year since they have seen their parents. Gill has faced motherhood alone in lockdowns without the support of her mum and family.
For those of you who don't know Gill, she is selfless, giving, extremely kind, caring and will go out of her way to give back to those in need. Gill now faces 6 months of Chemo followed by Surgeries, the rest is unknown.
After this recent news Gill and Stu's family are applying for an exemption to fly to Australia from Scotland to help support them and care for their baby Jack during this horrific time. The flights and quarantine involved are extremely expensive so we want to help raise money to them get here! We are fighting to have their family reunited again and for Gill to have the support she deserves! Gill's Chemo starts in 6 weeks time so we need to raise enough funds to get her family here ASAP.
They have a tough battle ahead of them, and with Stu being the sole income earner, a toddler to care for, medical expenses, things will be exceptionally stressful.
Donate what you can, please share this post, drop over a meal, offer care for Jack or even just contact her with some words of encouragement.
Together we can reunite their family and give Gill the support she deserves! Together we can support Gill in kicking cancer's butt! She is one strong incredible lass who will give it all she's got!
Lots of love. Team Gill xxxxx
