Help Our Sister Fight Breast Cancer Again

Why is asking for help so hard? Everyone always says "let me know if there is anything I can do" but do we every let them know? Maybe some of you do but my best friend just can't seem to ask for help.

 

My name is Nura and this wonderful friend I speak of is named Shareba, some call her Reba, some best friend, some sister and one very important person calls her mommy. You see, Shareba hasn't even celebrated her 30th birthday but is having to face off with breast cancer for the SECOND time. Back in 2012 before her 20th birthday , at the age of 19, Shareba was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. At this time she was already about 2 months pregnant with that little boy that calls her mommy and to avoid any risk to him , she delayed the chemo. After giving birth , she started chemotherapy and after roughly 11 treatments and few bald spots she was good. Hallelujah . Unfortunately if things stayed good, you wouldn't be reading this story.

 

As if 2020 wasn't bad enough , October 2020 Shareba finds out that the cancer is back and she is diagnosed again  with stage 2 inflammatory breast cancer. Now, at first this wasn't a shock or a scare because hello she beat it once with a few session of chemo , she is going to do it again. Well, things are never the same the second time around and cancer is worse. On August 3rd, the doctors advise her that the chemo isn't working and not only that but things have gotten worse . They let her know that she has moved up to stage 3 and the cancer has started to invade her chest wall. So, the doctors started her on aggressive chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This is why we are here, its costs an arm and a leg to fight cancer and insurance doesn't cover it all. Shareba has remained positive and has been doing her best to beat this disease but she is now drowning in medical bills and can't afford to continue treatments.

 

The treatments seem to be working and she needs to stay on it to kill this disease once again, so please donate anything you can $1, $5,$10, $20, $100,$1000, the entire $30,000 if you got it. The money received is to pay for the treatments that the insurance does not cover.
