Jesse is a beautiful sole and god knows his work is not done and saved him. Pleas e help is get ready for his return. We appreciate all the shares. Our hometown Medford OR has had car washes and a fe w more are planned. He is so young and god has great plans for him He is such a spirited person you can't help but love him once you know him. Thinking with his heart and not his head is usually how he gets himself into trouble. He is so loved and we are so grateful to all our family friends and new friends for you support. Loves. Our beautiful charismatic son Jesse Martinez recently graduated and turned 18. A month after on June 21st, 2017 the unimaginable happened. In an attempt to protect his friend from being robbed and or shot Jesse was jumped by two boys he's known since elementary school resulting in them chasing him to a fence where they beat him, pistol whipped him multiple times, crushed his middle finger and then shot him in the back of the neck at a very close range. Jesse has had the bullet successfully removed from his neck and his finger reconstructed with pins. Jesse has had to have metal rods placed in his neck. This horrifically tragic incident left Jesse with severe cervical spinal cord damage. Jesse is fighting to move again, the area damaged was C3, C4, and severing C5 leaving him paralyzed from his shoulders down. Thankfully our son is ALIVE !  We have many family and friends offering assistance and we have opened this account to allow those that can help our family in this time of need. We are working on our plan and what physical therapy options we will have available to help our son walk. At this time we don’t know exactly what that will look like or cost. We will be visiting with specialists and have already begun physical therapy in the hospital. We will attempt to allow our son to move his body again by all means necessary. It’s only been 7 days since this tragic event and already Jesse is waking after each sleep with fear that he is unable to move. Please help us as we are continuing to encounter unimaginable medical costs. We will need to purchase a new bed, an electric wheelchair and have a ramp installed just to start with. I want to thank those that have brought this far, and those that will help him in his long recovery, St Francis Hospital, Tulsa OK, many many family, friends, friends of friends and everyone out there that has heard his story and wished him well, We are lifted up in love, prayers and the positive energy we are receiving for a full recovery. I have established a Instagram and Twitter page for updates prayers4liljee Thank you just for taking the time to listen/read our story we appreciate any help you can provide.
