My name is Bree, and I am raising funds for our Sweet McKenna. For those of you who know her; know what a special, happy, beautiful, little girl she is. Mc Kenna was attacked by a Pitbull. The dog ripped her little face from her skull and crushed her cheek bones. She was also bit on her leg. The massive trauma done to her beautiful face is something no one should have to go through, especially a 2 yr. Old. We are very fortunate that she survived this brutal attack. McKenna is an angel, one of those children that your just drawn too. She has a beautiful spirit. She's been a fighter since she was born at 2lbs 9 oz. Mc Kenna should be able to come home soon. But as we all know as parents when emergencies like this happen the only thing we worry about is being with our baby and making sure they have what they need. The family could use some help just paying for gas coming to and from the hospital, and making it to the many appointments she will have following this. Medically there is extensive nerve damage, her tear ducts, nose and nostrils were torn from her skull. This is a trauma she will still have to have procedures over for the rest of her life. I have had the wonderful opportunity to have this little girl in my life, she touched my heart and so many others. Delana and Jeremy have been through the ringer the last few months, and their biggest concern is making sure they have gas for visiting her, and her future appointments, and anything that might help make their baby more comfortable through this recovery. The truck needs an oil change, just small, but important things that have been put on hold or forgotten about because of spending hours with her. How can you not smile or laugh with this beautiful, sweet baby, it's just contagious. This family has been through enough, any help that could relieve them of some worry and stress, would be a such a blessing for them right now. Here are a few of the surgery pictures.
