Help our Toby
Donation protected
This is Toby Smith, On Saturday 8th February, this beautiful big smiley lad was involved in a terrible accident.
Whilst riding his push bike home he was horrifically struck down by a car.
Tobys injuries were catastrophic and he was airlifted to Royal Perth hospital.
After over a week in ICU, Toby is now in the State major trauma unit, with a huge road ahead.
Toby came to Australia less than a year ago, to be closer to his Mum, step dad and siblings and start a fresh new life in Australia.
Tobys next journey is going to be a tough one, not only will he be in rehab for the next 3-4 months from many broken bones in his neck, spine and pelvis, but he will also require months of rehab for his brain injury and possible surgeries for multiple other injuries.
As you can imagine for an Australian citizen this would be a feat of its own but Toby is English, he's here on a Work and holiday Visa (No travel insurance) and faces being sent home in June to England with no family to help with the Care he may need.
The cost for another visa could be upwards to thousands, and extra medical costs moving further down the track may be astronomical with no insurance.
To help ease the family's financial stress we are asking for your help, any donation big or small would be sincerely appreciated in helping Toby to stay in Australia with his loved ones and receive the medical treatment that he needs. All your kind donations will be sent to an account Toby’s Mother, Nichola Hawkins who will totally in control of how the money is spent. This will be towards his medical costs and keeping him here with his family etc visa to stay in the country.
THANKYOU will all our hearts for your generosity x
