Help our trans household escape Missouri

Hi there, on Thursday, April 13th Missouri's Attorney General Andrew Bailey put into effect an Emergency Ruling effectively banning transgender healthcare for both minors and adults beginning April 27th, 2023. We are three trans individuals who all depend on the Hormone Replacement Therapy and gender affirming care that is soon to be prohibitively limited by this bill. All three of us have had gender affirming surgery in the past and two of us are no longer able to produce necessary sex hormones on our own. There is no clause for this in the bill and without the hormones our healthcare provides the effects on our bodies and wellbeing will be drastic and then eventually life threatening.

I, Nathalie Dempsey, my partner Andy and a third partner who wishes to remain anonymous, along with our two dogs Kai and Moogie are looking to escape Missouri when our lease is up at the end of May. We plan to move to somewhere in Northern Illinois but as of right now, we don't have the funds to do so due to spending a few weeks changing employment in the last month. This decision by Missouri's AG has completely blindsided us and the rest of the trans community. If we can raise at least $1500 dollars then we will be able to have enough money to put a security deposit on a new lease, any money thereafter will be used for moving expenses and providing a few weeks of safety net to find jobs in Illinois.
