Help my mum bring our boy home and Lay him to rest

Hi, My name is Michaela, and I'm trying to raise some funds to help my mother financially while she has to take time off work for my baby brother who is currently in hospital. All donations will go to my mum so she can still pay her bills, travel to and from the hospital and food for her while she is up there.

If we are able to get enough we would also be able to pay for some of us siblings who are currently in Townsville unable to get to Brisbane.

About what's happened to my brother Derek!-

Derek is a almost 13 year old boy, a couple of days ago he started getting sick, over the last couple of days he just got worse yesterday when my mom had come home on her break from work after phone calls from him saying he was in pain. She came home to him drowsy on the couch so she ran the ambulance straight away and got him to the hospital. The hospital had ran test and sent him for CT scan and had discovered that he has an infection which has caused him to go septic.

They have had to put him in a coma and on a machine to pump his heart and lungs to give his body a rest and to try and fight the infection, also give them time to find where the infection is and to fight it.

He is currently in a coma on life support up in the children's hospital in Brisbane.

The doctors are hopeful but still he is very sick and anything can still happen.

Mum needs us all there but only half of the siblings have been able to get to here, the rest of us financially can't afford it.

Mum is also going to have to take a few weeks off work and she now won't be able to pay her bills. She is also going to need to travel to and from the hospital with my other siblings and buy food while up with my brother.

I don't want her having to worry about all that other stuff while she is dealing with what's happening with my brother.
