Help Overcome Cancer: Support for Medical Expenses

In December 2022, after 6 months of being misdiagnosed with hemorrhoids, a colonoscopy finally revealed the reason for 6 months of unrelenting pain; a large tumor located at the base of my colon and anu$. After 2 weeks of testing, the results were in. Stage V colonrectal cancer with Mets in the liver and lung. Chemo needed to start immediately.

In January 2023, on the first day of scheduled chemo, blood tests revealed I was on the edge of renal failure. So instead of day 1 of chemo, I was rushed into surgery to place a stent in my right kidney to stop them from shutting down.

Since then, I've had 13 additional surgeries to place new agents and multiple ports due to complications that "never happen". I am also still working full time despite aggressive chemo every 2 weeks. And while the initial tumor has responded beautifully to chemo, the mets in my lung have not. And being metastatic stage V, my battle is just beginning. This is the rest of my life.

Now the bills are coming due. And trying to continue to work full time has seen my leave for work dwindling. Taking leave without pay is an option but one that further deplete my savings account.

So for the first time in my life, I am asking for help. All money donated will help me pay the medical bills needing payment, allow me to prepare for future bills, and having a little breathing room. I know times are hard for everyone and so I hate asking but honestly I am out of options. I am and will be forever grateful to anyone who shares or donates to this.
