Help Overcome Lupus: Medical and Living Expenses

Hi friends,

This isn't easy to say, but I need your help. As some of you may know, I have been very sick lately and had to quit working in April due to the pain and fatigue that I have been dealing with. I finally got a new Doctor and was referred to a Rheumatologist. After 6 months of testing, they have found out that I have Lupus. For those that are not aware of what Lupus is, it is an autoimmune disease that attacks your entire body from your skin, joints, to your brain and organs.

I started a medication called Plaquenil that is supposed to help suppress the immune system and help prevent major flare-ups. It takes at least 2-3 months for this medication to start working. It will not cure the disease but will make it a bit more manageable.

The money I am asking for will go towards fixing my car so I can get back and forth to medical appointments, school, and do Doordash while looking for a new job in a more suitable setting when I start getting better. It will also help with my bills and replacing my furnace that broke down back in January.
