Support Syryn Through Her New Journey

Hey everyone, I have a message and it’s important.

Recently, I had an accident while sleepwalking where I fell from a 7th-floor balcony to the 3rd-floor balcony. I don’t remember much of it, but I know I landed on a chair, and I want to be clear… I didn’t jump, I just fell. Despite that, it was a 4-story fall, and it’s left me with quite a few injuries.

I fractured my C1 & C2 vertebrae, along with L1-5 and T8-12. I also suffered a brain bleed and broke both my femurs. Right now, I can’t move my legs, though I’m starting to get some feeling back. There’s a chance I might not be able to walk again, but I’m holding out hope that I can.

I’m currently in a long-term care facility, which unfortunately isn’t the best at managing diabetes, so I’ve had to be very vocal about my care. My mom and I are advocating to make sure things don’t get overlooked, and I’m also quietly managing some aspects myself since they’re not handling insulin well here.

I want to emphasize that I wasn’t suicidal, and I don’t have any harmful thoughts. If I ever feel overwhelmed, I always tell the nurses.

For now, I’m in the ICU at this facility, dealing with an infection, but it’s being managed. I’m staying hopeful for recovery, and I appreciate everyone’s support.

TLDR: Fell 4 stories, multiple fractures, recovering in long-term care facility. Alive.

Funds will be used towards a wheel chair, medical bills and moving into a rehab center.
