Help overwhelmed Koala Rescuer amidst Fire Crisis

The Queensland Koala Society was founded by Koala carer and dedicated volunteer Angela Christodoulou and Ermanno Nobilio in August 2018. 

After hundreds of hours rescuing various animals such as gliders, possums, birds, lizards, and emus, and completing all possible wildlife rehabilitation courses for about 35 different animals, it became clear that Angela had an affinity with koalas, who require very specialised care. With diverse experience in all facets of Koala Care, Angela has volunteered thousands of hours to koala rescues with RSPCA.

With the current fire crisis Angela and her organisation currently have over 80 animals in its care. The organisation is not-for-profit and was founded out of Angela’s pocket. Cash donations will free up valuable time that The Queensland Koala Society needs to care for the many animals it has taken in during our fire crisis. 

Angela has been doing sausage sizzles to raise money so she can continue to give these animals the care they desperately need. This is a time consuming task and I believe this platform may be able to help the Queensland Koala Society more efficiently. Time is precious during this stressful time. 

This is a Brisbane organisation that is helping animals from state wide. Please support an on the ground operation, where you know exactly where the funds are going.

- funnel (holds equipment)

- binoculars

I know Angela because I worked for her for five years in her previous business. She left this business to dedicate her life to animals and she is the most passionate, generous, hardworking individual I know!
