My name is Oweikimi Sofiyea, a senior Health Science major from Chicago, Illinois. I am currently enrolled to the illustrious Howard University. During my time at Howard, I've never had less than a 3.0 gpa, been on the Dean's List nearly every semester, marched in the S.H.O.W.T.I.M.E. marching band and had the honor of obtaining membership into Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity Incorporated. I've had the pleasure of making new connections and building lifelong friendships. I truly revel in the thought of walking across the stage, virtually or in person, with my classmates in HU 21. I pulled my way my first three and half years, but due to complications with my living situation and COVID-19, I now need help to pay my $10k balance so that Howard will let me graduate in May.
