Help Oxford Community Schools Get 5 Therapy Dogs
Donation protected
On November 30, 2021, the unthinkable happened in Oxford Community Schools in Oxford, Michigan. As the school community begins the long journey of healing, a fundraising campaign is being initiated by a team of educators and community supporters to purchase and train dogs for a new Oxford dog therapy program. Each therapy dog is approximately $10,000, most of which goes towards the training necessary for each dog to meet the social and emotional needs of the students.
Brighton Area Schools has been volunteering their dogs at various locations within Oxford Community Schools. Oxford students and staff have been able to experience what Brighton’s therapy dog program is able to provide each and every day. Please help us support Oxford Community Schools with a contribution to this cause which will we hope will have a positive impact on the healing of the Oxford community.
