Help Pace Softball Compete This Season!

Our varsity softball team consists of a hardworking group of dedicated high school athletes who are attempting to raise funds for our upcoming softball season. We are located in inner New York City, in an area with limited practice space and without a playing field. We are only able to practice on a field dedicated to softball when we are able to obtain permits, which are rare in our area of the city. So, we practice many days on a handball blacktop that isn't conducive to softball.

Because of this, we are hoping to buy equipment that will allow us to maximize our ability to practice without a field, in order to improve our overall talents and compete at a high level within the city and regionally for the 2024 season. We have worked tirelessly to develop talent that can compete at the level of many other schools with significantly more funding and resources, and we have improved significantly over the past three seasons. We are hoping that our equipment quality can reflect our level of talent and work.

We are hoping to use these funds for:

-A pitching machine that will allow our team to face live pitching each day

-Hitting nets that we can move around to different practice spaces

-Hiring a pitching coach for a few days to teach our newer players how to pitch a "windmill" softball style

-Funds for entering tournaments around New York City and other team needs
