Help Paige Heal from a Devastating Car Accident

Paige was involved in a horrific car accident while driving home from her parent’s house, leaving her with a fractured sternum and in need of spine surgery which will require extensive recovery time in addition to having to be away from work.

Paige is a very active individual. She is a nurse at Hartford Hospital, requiring her to be on her feet for 12+ hours at a time, often for three days in a row. With the types of injuries Paige has endured, she will be be out of work while she recovers and need a great deal of physical therapy to heal.

Paige dedicates her life to others. She is always the first one to jump in if any coworker is in need. She often is the organizer for collections on our unit. Now Paige needs our help, and I would like to give back to her any way that I can. Her nursing career means everything to her. And I know that she is eager to dive back in and care for her patients, and it will not be easy for her to be on the receiving end of care for once.
