Help Paige & Kaya recover after losing their home

Paige, a Boulder resident and member of the Hawkeye Colorado team, lost her home and most of her belongings in a Boulder apartment fire the morning of March 25th. Her unit was one of the 24 units that were severely affected by this fire.  In the early hours of the morning, Paige's brother was able to gather Kaya and a few other items to safely evacuate the apartment. 

 

The objective of this fundraiser is to assist Paige and Kaya, her beloved feline companion, get back to a normal life. Paige and Kaya are staying with her parents in Evergreen as she is still assessing the total damage and her next steps moving forward. We want to start raising money for Paige so she can start to restore all that she has lost. It has become clear after working with the apartment complex and insurance company that there will be a gap between the resources the insurance company will provide against the total amount of damages. We know some things are irreplaceable, but your monetary donation can help Paige recoup some of her losses and replace all of those Ravens jerseys and unicorn onesies that we know she so passionately loves. 

Paige is an incredible person, who profoundly impacts everyone she engages with, from her friends to colleagues. If you know Paige, you know how large her heart is and how supportive she is to everyone that she interacts with. There is an overwhelming amount of people reaching out asking how they can help. While there will certainly be opportunities to support Paige and Kaya beyond monetary donations, at this time, this is the most effective way to support Paige as she navigates this incredibly difficult situation.
