Help Paisley Fight Leukemia

Paisley update: She had her port put in earlier this week and started chemo last week. Thankfully she has been doing very well with treatment and for the most part, has remained her happy, high spirited self! Please continue praying that the treatment does what it is supposed to and that Paisley continues to receive it well. Please pray for Tyler and Jessica, as watching their sweet baby go through this is a struggle and exhausting both mentally and physically. Please consider contributing to this family as they are not even half way into their stay at the hospital with P. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. We are seeing them answered in different ways every single day!

For those of you that don’t know, shortly after Paisley’s first birthday party was over, Tyler and Jessica decided to take Paisley to the ER due to her acting extremely lethargic and not her happy self. They quickly ran some tests on her and admitted her to the ICU. The results determined that some of Paisley’s blood counts were extremely low and after a few more tests, they did confirm that she has some form of leukemia. They are still in the very early stages of knowing what type it is and what all her treatments will entail; however, it is my heart that we will be able to help Tyler and Jess stay on top of things as they begin this journey. Paisley has already had to have multiple transfusions as well as a few minor procedures as they prep her for the next steps they’ll need to take.

Due to some unforeseen recent management changes at Jessica’s work, there has been a lapse in them being able to have medical coverage for Paisley at this time and I pray these funds will help offset some of the upcoming expenses the Lowers will experience during this journey with sweet P.

I pray that you will consider this family and what they are going through as they have already been in the hospital since Saturday and are not expected to be able to go home in at least a week at the earliest. Please pray that the Lord will keep Tyler and Jessica in a sound mind of knowing that He is going before them in this most difficult situation of their lives. Please pray the Lord will give Paisley supernatural strength and healing as she will soon begin treatment. Pray that the doctors know exactly what she needs and how they can best support her immune system and recovery. Please pray that all of their friends and family members will know how to show up for them in the exact ways they need in these days to come, and that the Lowers will all feel the comfort and peace of God through these interactions. Anyone who has had the privilege to meet Paisley knows that she is the sweetest, most spunky and joyful baby ever and knows how hard it must be to watch this precious girl go through what she already has.
