Help Palestinian family survive and evacuate Gaza crisis
Donation protected
For over a year now, the invasion of Gaza has been a humanitarian catastrophe. Schools, homes, hospitals, and more have been destroyed while humanitarian efforts and calls to end the violence have done far too little. People in Gaza rely on donations to cover the cost of living and of evacuating to safety. I am raising funds on behalf of Mohammed, the brother of Jehan (https://x.com/JehanGaza94), a Palestinian woman I met online through her fundraising campaign. She asked me to set up the campaign for him. Here are his words:
"Hello, I am Mohammed from Gaza. When I was 10 years old, I had an accident and was injured. I got married only two months before the war. I did not imagine that the war would be so brutal. My family and I were displaced 9 times and escaped death twice. My wife was two months pregnant at the beginning of the war. I was afraid throughout the war for my son, whom I had been waiting for for a long time. In May, in the midst of chaos and destruction, a glimmer of hope was born, my son Mustafa. I was very afraid for him and for my wife, who gave birth to her first child with primitive equipment.
After 12 months of destructive war in Gaza I have lost my home, my job, the majority of my belongings and my laptop; which I was dependent on for income and work. The above photo shows my family's home after it was bombed.
War has destroyed our schools, markets, homes and hospitals. I have no money left to leave Gaza, and with every passing day we are bombarded relentlessly. I fear that something should happen to myself, or my family. With your generous donations, I plan to evacuate Gaza, to support my family with food and drink, to safeguard them from bombs, flames and destruction.
The situation in Gaza is dire and rapidly deteriorating. Our lives are at stake and every moment counts. I humbly ask of you to support me through donations and spreading my situation to others."
