Help Pam Buy a New Transmission for Cyrus
Donation protected
Pam is currently a high school senior that just bought her first car (lovingly named Cyrus), with her own money, for around $6000. This purchase left her dead broke, but it was worth it to have transportation to work and school, which she previously relied on her single mother for. The people she bought the car from told her it was inspected and reliable, which were both lies. The car broke down on 10/3 due to transmission failure, and while being towed, they also noticed extreme frame rot that should have failed inspection. A new transmission is around $2000-$3000, not to mention hundreds of more dollars to repair the rusted framing at the bottom, that could give out at any moment. All of the money raised will go directly to repairing Pam’s car, and every dollar counts. Since she used all of her savings buying the car in the first place, and her family is already struggling as is, there’s just no way for Pam to come up with this kind of money any time soon, meaning she won’t be able to get to work unless given a ride. Like I said every dollar counts, and your donations mean everything! Thank you for reading
