Help Pam Nelson's Family in Their Time of Need

Pam Nelson, a beloved mother and grandmother, tragically suffered a basilar artery stroke on Monday, November 11th. Despite undergoing brain surgery to remove the blood clot, the damage was irreparable, and Pam never regained consciousness.

On Saturday, November 16th, with heavy hearts, her family made the difficult decision to discontinue her life support and initiate hospice care.

Pam had always expressed a profound wish to donate her body to science, allowing her to contribute to medical research. However, due to specific criteria for body donations, they were unable to accept her. In light of this, the family is now seeking a crematorium to fulfill Pam’s remaining wish of having her cremated remains placed with her mother at her burial site in north Texas.

The unexpected cost of this event has put a significant strain on the family, who have always struggled financially. Both Pam and her husband, Mike, relied on Social Security retirement benefits, which barely covered their basic expenses.
