Help Pam Stay Strong!!!

Hi, my name is Mari and I’m fundraising for my baby sister. The cover photo shows her laughing with my mom and our older sister just six months ago during a visit home to Tucson. It seems like a lifetime ago.

In July, a dear nephew passed away. The following month, her son passed away. In October, she was diagnosed with a Pancoast Tumor, a rare form of lung cancer. Today she learned it is stage three. To say that smile has slipped is an understatement.

Pam is the sole provider of Rayli, her ten year old granddaughter, who she has raised since infancy. Today, she learned she will be starting chemotherapy and radiation and her first question was, “Will I be able to work?” My heart shattered as I heard her tormented desperation as she uttered, “I have to take care of Rayli” and began to sob.

The world, Rayli’s world, rests solely on Pam’s shoulders and I am asking for any help in keeping those shoulders steady and strong, so Pam can focus on getting better and beating the odds…so she can be here in Rayli’s future.
