Help Pamela get the surgery she needs

Hi there, my name is Russell Leonard,

I'm raising funds for my mum Pamela who is in desperate need of hip replacement surgery. She is now mainly bedbound and in constant pain, I have taken up the role as carer but the intensity of her situation has become overwhelming for her, she needs help. Unfortunately our local hospital aren't providing surgeries and I've been told they don't know when they can resume. She has been on the waiting list for the opp for 5- 6 years which we've been holding out for.

Her situation has deteriorated over the last year, she can't walk anymore without intense pain and support as her hip dislocates a few times a day. I don't really know what else to do other than make this gofundme page to try help her get closer to her goal if we have to go private. It's a real shame we've had to take this route, but unfortunately our local nhs hospital seem to be under so many different pressures at the moment they simply arnt able to provide us the services we need. 

Overall, my mums health is great appart from her condition with her hip. It would be really nice to see her enjoying life again and not crying everyday with the situation she's in. It's frustrating knowing it's only one surgery that's holding her back from being able to have a laugh and enjoy her life again.. Any kind of donation you would be willing to give would be a massive help to getting her closer to that opp and help her get her back on her feet again. 

It's between 12 to 15k for a new hip. If by some miracle we raise anywhere near that, that would be truly amazing. if the surgery ends up being a little less than the set target goal the overflow if there is any will go towards an easy access bath/shower unit for her.
