PLEASE HELP PAOLA'S STAFF DURING THE COVID CRISIS!
Paola's Restaurant has been a local favorite serving the Upper East Side for over 30 years. Over that time, the Paola's team has seen countless babies grow into adults, first dates turn into marriages, and guests from all over the world return again and again to join us in the welcoming atmosphere created by Paola Bottero and her son Stefano Marracino. Paola's has been fortunate enough to expand beyond our long-standing location on 92nd St to include Paola's Osteria on 89th and Paola's East in the Hamptons in the summer.
What makes Paola's a special place is the people who work there, but the COVID crisis has been a severe blow to our business that has rendered Paola's unable to adequately financially support our staff in this time. We have ceased our operations for the time being to protect the health of our community and we do not want the staff and their families to have to bear the brunt of this financial burden in this interim.
Paola's always emphasizes family -- and family takes care of one another when things get tough.
We are asking our community for donations of any size from the money they would typically spend having a meal at our restaurant. This money will be distributed among all of the staff at our restaurants. We will also use this money to help with costs to kick up our operations again once we are able to return to the restaurant.
We hope everybody stays safe and healthy. We look forward to sharing a meal with you all soon.
