Help Papa Villani

My dad Marco suffered a massive heart attack Thursday afternoon. He went into Costco to buy a pack of waters for my abuelita, while she waited for him in the car with my son Aspen.  He suffered a massive heart attack, and was luckily assisted by an RN that saw him fall. His heart stopped and had to be resuscitated. He was rushed to the hospital where they have him incubated to help him breathe. He is in very critical condition. My abuelita was waiting in the car for him when she called and the hospital answered. She had my son in the car and she barley managed to call for help to pick them up.

my dad, Marco, is so loved. He is my son’s favorite person on this planet. No one makes Aspen more happy than his papa. He is know to everyone to be a fun loving person and he’s always gone out of his way to help others. Aspen was visiting with him for two weeks because my dad wanted to give me time to study for my big exam and time to spend with my husband without our son. We weren’t sure if we could pick Aspen up in a week and he offered to drive him back up. He was always ready to drop everything for Aspen. If he ever notices I’m stressed he always tells me “don’t worry chaparita, you’re going to be fine, you’re smart and things will work out” he will often spend me $20 for my coffee when I’m down.

He lost his job during COVID so he doesn’t have insurance right now and the social worker at the hospital said his bills are already up to $200,000. She also told us that he may not qualify for medical.
