Help paralyzed pastor

Hi. My name is Michelle and my parents, Dwight and Karon Crowley, are in need of help right now. Yesterday, my dad fell off his riding mower and suffered a head/neck injury. He became paralyzed primarily in his arms and legs. My nephews heard his call for help and found him lying on the ground. They were able to get my brother, a paramedic, very quickly who was able to get him stabilized and airlifted to the hospital. Based on MRI findings, he has cracks in his spine near the C-3 and C-4 vertebrae. There is swelling in this area which is causing the paralysis. They are hopeful that they can perform surgery to relieve the swelling and that feeling will return to his arms and legs. They are concerned that he may not make a full recovery, especially in his hands, but we have hope in our Mighty God that he will be fully restored. Because he is on blood thinners, the surgeon could not perform surgery immediately, but he plans to do surgery at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. My dad has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. Doctors have informed us that he will have to stay in a rehabilitation unit for six to twelve months and then when he returns home, he will need someone with him at all times. This is going to be financially difficult for my parents since they both still hold jobs to make ends meet. My dad has been working at a factory part-time as well as pastoring a church and volunteering his time to anyone in need. My mom already works two jobs. Without this income, they will struggle greatly. My dad is a veteran so most of his medical expenses will be taken care of, but I know the last time my dad needed medical care, the VA did not cover everything, so they will likely have some medical bills as well. I have set up this gofundme page to try to relieve some of the stress I know they are feeling right now. I would like for my parents to focus solely upon recovery and not worry about how they will pay their bills over the coming months. Prior to becoming a preacher, my dad served our country in the United States Army and is a true patriot to this day. He has been a preacher for close to 40 years now. He has touched countless lives through his ministry and served God with his whole heart during this time. My mom has been beside his side in service to our country and God over the past 50 years.
