Help Parmbir Rebuild His Life After a Tragic Shooting
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
We are reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of our dear friend Parmbir, whose life took a heartbreaking turn. Parmbir was the innocent victim of a mistaken identity shooting on November 9, 2024 at 31 Inder Heights Drive in Brampton. He was struck by multiple bullets, one of which damaged his spinal cord, leaving him permanently paralyzed.
This tragedy has not only taken Parmbir’s mobility but has also placed a significant financial burden on him and his family. Parmbir is currently waiting for his Canadian permanent residency to be approved, which means his expired health card does not cover his medical expenses. As a result, he faces mounting costs for hospital bills, medications, ongoing physiotherapy, and essential accessibility adjustments, including a specialized wheelchair and home modifications to accommodate his new reality.
Parmbir has always been a hardworking, compassionate, and hopeful individual. Despite this life-altering injury, he remains resilient and determined to adjust to his new life. However, he cannot do it alone. He needs our support to access the care and equipment essential to rebuilding his life with dignity and comfort.
We are asking for donations to help cover Hospital Bills, Immediate and continuing costs related to his surgery and recovery.
