Help Pastor Cathy Cover Funeral Expenses

Catherine Brown, the pastor of ELCM Hope Community Center, received the call on Tuesday, October 29, that no mother wants to receive. Her 25 year old son, Timmell Smith of Lynchburg, was found deceased in his own backyard. The family needs $3500 more dollars to cover the funeral expenses. Pastor Cathy and her family have given so much to help meet the tangible needs of individuals and families in Madison Heights and Amherst County, and it’s our turn to come together as a community and give back to her and her family in their time of grief and need.
