Help Minister Orzic Harmon Recover From A Hemorrhagic Stroke
Donation protected
On Sunday, December 17th, 2023, Minister Orzic Harmon suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke while at church. Immediately after singing and dancing during praise and worship — he began walking off stage and dropped his microphone. When he attempted to pick it up, he quickly realized he was unable to do so — due to his left hand being unresponsive.
Things unfortunately quickly escalated and he was unable to move his legs. Thankfully, there were church members in the congregation who quickly recognized the symptoms and rushed to his aid. Paramedics were called and he was rushed to The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
As a result of the stroke, Minister Harmon is currently experiencing weakness and paralysis on his entire life side — which has robbed him of his ability to perform daily tasks he was once able to do with ease. After months in the hospital and rehab — he is now home and on his long road to recovery, which requires multiple physical therapy sessions a week.
The effects of this illness have also been devastating for his wife and children, but they’ve been by his side every step of the way. And while there’s also physical, emotional and financial challenges — Minister Harmon continues to show resilience. Any money donated will go towards medical expenses and to help ease the financial burden that’s a result of his stroke.
