Help Pat and Ally with medical bills

Hey everyone, my name is Mike Ayres. As a lot of you know Pat (Patrick Penn), a bartender at The Smoky Mountain Brewery in Turkey Creek has spent much of the last four months in the hospital. After stepping on a nail in early August, Pat's left foot became severely infected. He had initial surgery in mid-August and missed six weeks of work. He then returned to work for four weeks before being re-admitted to the hospital in late November. He subsequently has had two more surgeries, and is at risk of losing part of his foot. Pat is currently in the hospital, and might be in need of yet another surgery. Regardless, it will be weeks, if not months, before he can return to work.

After missing so much work, Pat and his wife Ally, are in need of our help. They would never ask, but in talking with Pat I know anything we could do for them would go a long way - especially at Christmas. Right now, everything they have is going to help with medical bills, and as many of you know, medical bills can take years to pay off.

If you've ever heard Pat's infectious laugh, seen him grin ear-to-ear, or ever heard the phrase, "Desert, cheesecake, key lime pie" (as he tries to get you to buy desert), or bet $5 on a random game with him then you know what a genuine person Pat is. I know he would give the shirt off his back for almost anyone - he's that kind of guy.

Over the years Pat has become a dear friend to many of us. I know trying to raise $10k for Ally and him is a big goal, but I figured between employees and customers at The Brew, everyone I know that knows Pat, and many people I don't even know, we can make this happen. Please give whatever you can. We would all love to give them a great gift for Christmas!! Please spread this around to everyone you know who might be interested in helping.
