Help Pat Battle Lung Cancer

Hi, my name is Alison Stinely and I have established this GoFundMe for my father, Patrick, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I'm sure he will be mortified to find I'm asking for financial assistance in his name but he is unable to work during this time and, while the wheels of governmental and medical bureaucracies turn, he has expenses as everyone does.

You wouldn't know he was having any health issues by talking to him as he seems to be in perfect health, it's rather remarkable [frightening] actually. Because the lung cancer has spread to areas including his brain, he will be starting radiation this week at the Cleveland Clinic followed by chemotherapy and, perhaps, targeted therapy. We will know more when the full sequencing of his biopsy is finalized this week or next.

While we thankfully have a great support system of immediate and extended family, there will be expenses coming around the bend rather quickly that will be outside of what's manageable. Any little bit helps. Thank you very much in advance and I will be updating the page frequently!
