Help Pat Behan Fight Against ALS
Donation protected
At the end of July, Pat was discharged from George Washington Hospital. His mind remains sharp and his spirits high large in-part to the outpouring support, but these latest complications took a physical toll. However, the physical pain and mental anguish are not all that comes with these new hurdles. At home he requires 24/7 professional caregivers who are not covered by insurance. The cost for caregiving is around $7,000 per week.
So many have already done so much to aid in this battle, Pat and our Team are incredibly appreciative. We ask that you continue to #Punchback4Pat in any way you can.
---------------
In May 2022, at the age of 34, Patrick (Pat) Behan was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. While this has been a devastating diagnosis for everyone involved, Pat and those around him have chosen to fight this disease head-on and formed Behan Strong.
Pat is a former college basketball player whose life’s work is coaching basketball in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. He was the head boy’s basketball coach at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. for six seasons.
All donations from this fundraiser will go to the Patrick Behan Support Trust to provide financial support for Pat's care and help him fight this battle. Every dollar matters.
