Help Pat Kruse with funeral expenses for Gage

On May 24th, 2021, the world lost a young man with a big heart. Next week, his father Pat and other relatives will lay to rest Gage Kruse, an Ojibwe birchbark artist, traditional manoomin (wild rice) harvester; a good young man with a heavy spirit. If you know Pat, you'll know that Gage was everything to him.  He meant the world. He was son, apprentice, business partner - the light of his life.

My friend Pat and his family are beyond devastated. As they grieve, I would love his family and friends to come together to surround them with our love, and to show financial support if you're at all able. I've set the fundraising goal to cover funeral expenses, and supplement Pat's income as his art and ricing business will suffer a loss as he grieves and begins to try to understand how to move forward after a life-changing loss.
