Help patches recieve Surgery & then Recover !

Hello Everyone,

My name is Cassidy Emmett, as much of you may know me there are some that don't. I am a business owner locally in Collingwood, and also a mother and dog owner.

I realize today, is in support of Betty White & her legacy. Donating to local OSPCA's & shelters for animal's!

Today, our best friend's had called me asking for a ride to the vet, as their baby girl Patches (DOG 3 YRS) , has been acting different. Given she's just finished her period, it was somewhat normal, but the extent of the mood was not.

So my best friend reached out to me, and we brought Patches to the vet (they don't drive).

Every symptom my friend was describing to the vet @Abernant Vet in Stayner, was similar to that of Open Pyometra.

And for those that don't know what that is... I googled it for you.

-- Pyometra is a result of hormonal and structural changes in the uterus lining. ... This is known as open pyometra. If the cervix is fully closed, there is no discharge from the vulva, and like in appendicitis, the uterus may rupture and pus escapes into the abdomen, causing peritonitis and possible rapid death. --

Now, this family JUST as of Jan 1, 2022 moved to Collingwood to escape a small house fire they were in, and move closer to friends & work. Not only do we employ the family, we are great friends, and helped them move here. After life has already got them down, today they had to reap the news of their babygirl Patches.

My heart is breaking for this family. And on such a day!

What not better to do then donate any amount you can, $1, $2 $5 $10 or more.

This family needs all the help they can get after the imense amount of stress they have already been dealt.

I myself, absolutely will be doing what I can to help assist. And i will provide proof of payment, reciepts, and proof that babygirl Patches had not only recieved SURGERY, BUT RECOVERY as well!! (As were only thinking positive at this time for good thoughts and prayers for the family)

If everyone could please at the very least share this, that would be greatly appreciated.

Today's medication + blood work + vet visit has already had a total of $700. Not including the $2000 it would cost for surgery. At the low end.

My family is going to do whatever it takes to cover remaining costs. But we too require help wkth this!

So please, for PATCHES everyone share. A share may help patches stay with her family for many many more years to come. Her condition right now is very bad and requires surgery asap.

Patches lives with 4 family member, 2 kids - 1 7 yr old boy & 1 - 11 yr old girl. And their parents.

Please help this family donate enough before it is too late...
