Patrica Oddo recovering from major stroke.

On September 20th 2020, in the peak of the pandemic, our mom Patrica Oddo suffered a major stroke while visiting my sister Lynn Oddo, who got breast cancer only months before her visit. Lynn was already very sick from chemotherapy and was now finding herself trying to take care of our mom as well.

Patricia has lost mobility on the left side of her body, and very little function in her left hand  has kept her from basic life functions.  She is now working hard on recovery. We have pulled together every resource we have possible, but the bills still added up. We had to move her out of her home and into a friends home for PT.  She has lost everything including her savings.  At 75 years old she is  still a very hard worker, but she has not been able to work for over a year as she is healing.  My sister is also still very sick from radiation, and has little energy.

Our mom is an amazing person, she has always been a hard worker and caring. Unfortunately she is a victim of a medical emergency that has put so many humans into serious debt losing the ability to work. You will be helping a great person get back on her feet and back into a home. It will take time, unfortunately my sister and I can't afford to buy time.
