Help Patricia During Recovery

Patricia Lafemina has been a part of our team at Casa Italiana for a faithful 4 years. She is a sweet, caring, and hard-working person. But most importantly, she is a great friend. Unfortunately, in the past two months, she has had two heart attacks. The latest one was on Friday, December 23rd. Patricia's heart stopped and she had to be rushed to the hospital. The paramedics were forced to administer CPR and as a result, she has eight broken ribs. Her body was in such distress that the doctors had to place her in a medically induced coma for 5 days. She is now awake and starting a very long journey toward recovery. Patricia will be getting a defibrillator placed and due to the broken ribs, she is having a difficult time moving and breathing.

However, Patricia is a fighter and will get back to being her healthy and happy self! But we are aware this is going to be a long, and difficult journey. We are asking on her behalf for folks to aid in donating whatever they can to help her with her medical expenses during her recovery. Patricia spent Christmas in a coma and will spend New Year's in a hospital bed. It is still unclear when she will be able to leave the hospital. Please help us show her that she is not alone and send her love!
