Help Patricia Save Juarez's Forgotten Dogs

I am asking for your help with a special request for an amazing rescuer. She is not here in Valencia County NM and has nothing to do with my nonprofit but it is less than four hours south of us.

In general, we always seem to step up to help our neighbors when there is a natural disaster type situation but what about an ongoing crisis that is literally less than ten minutes from El Paso TX…

About a year ago I started following a page and at that time, I wasn’t even 100% sure it was legit; but, unfortunately it is. Patricia (Paw Angel Rescuerr) is my new hero. She has spent the last three years saving the forgotten, abused dogs in the streets of Juarez.

Patricia literally walks these forgotten dogs across the border to El Paso with volunteers to get them to safety. She has some rescues throughout the country that will take them on transports on a case by case basis but she still has to cover all of their costs including vet care, boarding , food and then health certificates and vaccines prior to transport.

Some of the dogs are so abused it’s amazing they made it long enough for her to get to them in the condition they are in. They must have known an Angel was on the way to help them.

I have worked in animal rescue for the last 16 years and thought I had seen some bad cases. I definitely did and it doesn’t take away from the neglected and abused ones here but what Patricia deals with on a daily basis makes what I did look like a walk in the park.

I’m embarrassed to say that I really had no idea the extent of cruelty that went on just ten minutes south of El Paso, Texas, until I started following her page. I personally have donated to her for a handful of dogs in need in the last couple months but in order to continue doing what she does, she needs help from ALL of us.

The condition of the ones she comes across is absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting. This selfless angel has saved close to 3,000 dogs in the last 3 years!!
