Help Patrick Patterson get on his feet again

Patrick Patterson was among the most fearsome fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He then unfortunately faded away from the limelight and from society for nearly 25 years. Then in 2017, after three visits to the Caribbean looking for him, I found Mr Patterson in his home country of Jamaica. He didn't recall much of his past life or his glory days as a cricketer and was just about managing to scrape through every day. This is the story I wrote about him in July 2017.

I've kept in touch with him throughout the four years since and while we have found our own unique ways of getting him to slowly recall some of his incredible feats on the cricket field, his day-to-day circumstances have only worsened and he now needs your help.
Mr Patterson is currently struggling to even purchase groceries and to make sure he gets two meals a day. He can do with all your love and support. He deserves it. This is a plea not only to the cricketing community but to everyone who he entertained with his breath-taking displays of raw pace and that inimitable bowling action which has been attempted in every gully and backyard around the world.
