Help Patto Beat Brain Cancer

Donation protected
As our family and friends are aware Sam and his family’s whole world changed last Monday afternoon.
Monday morning started out like any other day. He went to work doing what he loved as a plumber, came home and went to gym with his partner. On their way home they stopped to get some dinner for the kids where Sam had a horrific seizure.

Sam was transferred to Redcliffe hospital and after a CT scan a mass was discovered on his brain. We were told “it’s not enormous, but it’s not little” and that he was being transferred to the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital, where he met with a the neurological team. After an MRI he was told that there was a large Tumour on the front left side of his brain.

Sam had no symptoms and no signs of a tumour. He was a healthy 30 year old, father of 2 boys and soon to be marrying his partner of 8 years, Krystal.

Now life’s a little different. Sam is about to undergo surgery to remove part of the tumour, as surgeons aren’t able to remove it all with it being aggressive and deep in his brain. He will then start radiation and chemo.

They don’t expect anything but well wishes and to be kept in everyone’s thoughts however if you are in a position to help cover costs of treatments, mortgage and bills while Sam and Krystal battle the hardest challenge that anyone should face while still raising 2 boys.
They would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you!
