Help Patty "Rocky Balboa" Batson Knock Out Cancer
Donation protected
Hello there my friends, I am a survivor, in every sense of the word, and I am now facing the greatest battle of my life.
After defeating uterine cancer last year, I am devastated to say that my cancer has returned, with a vengeance. After last year's operation and being declared cancer-free, my oncologist said that 99% of all patients will never have a recurrence again. In a heartbreaking twist of fate, I just became the 1%.
Not only do I have a huge amount of cancer cells in my intestines and stomach, I was found to have blood clots on my heart and lungs. My prognosis, even with the treatments I will have to face, is quite dim.
When I found out that I was the poor soul who drew the 1% card, I burst into tears in front of my doctor. After I stopped crying, and he left the room, I realized that I have to somehow stay positive, hopeful, and joyful and know that maybe God is about to give me the greatest testimony one day of His miracles, because I am determined to beat the odds!
The movie "Rocky" is a favorite of mine and I am inspired to go the 15 rounds and still be standing at the end, no matter how beaten, bruised and bloodied I might be. Like Rocky Balboa, I want to be the underdog who comes out on top. I want to find my Eye of the Tiger and somehow find the strength and will to defeat cancer.
I have an outstanding medical team and they are taking great care of me. But I have a very serious and long fight ahead of me. Because I have been so ill and unable to work, my finances have taken a huge hit. I am trying to raise money to help me with my upcoming medical and household expenses. While I am in the facing the match of a lifetime, I do not want to have the added stress of financial worries. I am asking for you to please donate any amount to literally keep me surviving through this most difficult journey.
I am blessed with wonderful family, friends and even strangers who are there by my side as I face my destiny.
My goal is to be a living testimony to the power of miracles, which is what I need right now. I definitely believe in miracles and I already been blessed with many of them in my life time. Plase help me to make it through with your donation. I am very grateful by the outpouring of love, prayers, support and encouragement from my beautiful family and friends.
Thank you so very much for hearing my story. I am determined to fight as long as I can and to live a long, purposeful, peaceful and glorious rest of my days. I want to focus not on the cancer and the hardships, but to focus on life, love, joy, music, laughter, and all the things that make life worth living. I am humbled and grateful to have you on this journey with me. Love and blessings to you all, Patty
