Two days ago, our friend Paty was climbing on our fire escape when he fell a story onto the concrete below us.  He suffered a broken pelvis and fractured left leg. The length of his recovery is unknown. After insurance, he's still left with about $6,000 of medical expenses to pay for, while being unemployed due to COVID 19 and unable to work due to his condition.
