Help Paul Boehm On His Road To Recovery

Our brother Paul is not on any social media sites, but many of you know him. And if you do, you know that he has a huge heart, he’s a great brother and son, a phenomenal musician who has shared his music with so many people over the years, and a good friend who is always the first to offer help to anyone that needs it.

A few weeks ago, Paul went through a major medical event. He was at work and wasn’t feeling well, so his friend rushed him to the hospital and that probably saved his life. If they had waited for an ambulance, Paul most likely would not have survived. Even though Paul has always seemed very healthy (he doesn’t drink or smoke) he suffered an aortic dissection (torn aorta) and the doctors told us that that’s usually fatal. But because his best friend Rick rushed him to the ER, the surgeons were able to save his life during a 6 1/2 hour open-heart surgery.

Paul spent the next six days in the ICU, had a second surgery, and was in the hospital for about 2 1/2 weeks.

Paul has a long recovery ahead of him and wont be able to work for an extended period. We just want to help in any way we can. If you feel compelled to contribute, any amount will help. Thank you so much from the Boehm Family.
