HELP PAUL CHRISTIAN CARE FOR OTHERS AGAIN!

Donation protected
My name is PAUL DOMINIC P. PACQUING. I am the younger brother of PAUL CHRISTIAN P. PACQUING of Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. We, his family, are
fundraising for his chemotherapy treatments and bone marrow transplant as well as associated costs at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

In March 2023, my brother Paul Christian was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philadelphia chromosome-positive (an aggressive type of leukemia).

STORY OF PAUL CHRISTIAN

PAUL CHRISTIAN P. PACQUING
He is a Fellow of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the Philippine Society of Sleep Medicine. He went back to our home province of Isabela, Philippines to provide medical care in his specialty fields through daily medical consultations, elective and/or emergency surgical cases. He is also part of the training consultant staff of the residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in the region.

In February 2023, Paul Christian felt on-and-off muscle pain in his left calf but brushed this aside as he continued his medical practice. As the muscle pain in his calf is intermittent, he consulted his doctor and underwent physical examinations and laboratory workups where the results showed high white blood cell count (WBC), high cholesterol, high uric acid, and high liver enzymes. Alarmed by his high WBC (white blood cell) count, he was referred to a hematologist at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) for a series of examinations. In March 2023, based on the Bone Marrow Aspiration (BMA) and Core biopsy examination, the diagnosis is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Philadelphia chromosome-positive. His doctor explained thoroughly the treatment protocol of intense chemotherapy treatments to complete four cycles while admitted for almost 21 days and a bone marrow transplant. A 100% bone marrow donor match is warranted. My older brother and I were screened for the matching. We have been blessed with good news in these trying times, as I am 100% matched to him and we can now prepare for the transplant procedure.

In April 2023, he underwent his 1st chemotherapy, and he is now in his 3rd cycle of treatment protocol.

His medical career was put on hold, to immediately start his cancer treatment. His wife, Regina, has put everything on hold to take care of my brother in the hospital. They both miss their 4-year-old daughter every day.
With a heart full of hope and with God always with us, we can conquer this battle and provide long-lasting remission to Paul Christian’s disease.

Paul Christian has helped and touched so many lives and he would like nothing more than to be of service to the sick again! Let us help him extend and provide medical care again to the sick!

SUPPORT

His hospital bills and expenses are piling up. His health insurance coverage is depleted from his previous in-patient chemotherapy treatments. We are raising funds to be used for the 3rd and 4th cycle treatments and bone marrow transplant procedure which is probably scheduled for this October or early November.

From our HEARTS, we, as his family are saying THANK YOU!

Any amount you can spare is greatly appreciated. We request that you share this story with your family and friends. God Bless you and your family always.
