Help Paul Finish the New Season of His Podcast!

Two months ago, as I started putting together episodes for Season 2 of "The Book I Had to Write," I discovered via biopsy that I have prostate cancer.
Though it's a grade group 3 (i.e. intermediate stage), we seem to have caught things early. I'll be undergoing surgery on March 17th down at UCLA Med Center. I'm really thankful to friends and family who have been super supportive & helpful during a challenging time.
At the same time, recovery from PC surgery takes time and there are side-effects. And people have been asking what they can do to help.
The answer is...help me finish the new season of my podcast!
The Book I Had to Write is the show where leading authors talk about the stories behind how they wrote some of today’s most influential nonfiction. (More at www.thebookihadtowrite.com). I launched the show last year for everyone who loves to read and write nonfiction -- especially those people trying to write great books.
Season 2 will be devoted to some of the great nonfiction coming out of CANADA . Guests include Josh Lambert on the Jewish Literary Mafia, Susan Olding on essays , Stephen Marche on writing and failure ...and more. I'm also super-psyched to release some special bonuses...like a "book club episode" featuring leading writers discussing a classic of creative nonfiction!
I love the fact the show connects great writers with new listeners -- helping literary culture in the process. But with extra medical expenses this spring, it's been difficult to get episodes ready.
If you want to help support writing & books AND you want to help me during this challenging time, please consider donating! ALL funds will go to helping me with:
- production/mixing costs
- web hosting, transcription, software, and graphic design costs
- additional help as needed post-surgery
Thank you for your support!
