Help Paul Go to COP27 - UN Climate Conference

Paul Beckwith, well-known climate system scientist/physicist/engineer and educator, will be attending the UN Climate Change Conference from November 6 to November 18, 2022, in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The conference will feature the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). His travel expenses will be out-of-pocket.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Paul is a respected creator of entertaining and comprehensible videos, usually pertaining to climate system science, abrupt climate change, meteorology, oceanography and Earth Sciences. He also occasionally teaches at the University of Ottawa and is often asked by concerned citizens and government officials to speak at conferences and events, and he has participated in numerous panel discussions. He participated in panel discussions at COP20 in Lima, COP21 in Paris, COP25 in Madrid and COP26 in Glasgow. He has often been interviewed as a guest on various radio and podcast programs.

During his time at COP 27, Paul will participate in panel discussions and be interviewed by climate journalists. He will also have the opportunity to meet with other scientists and activists and be interviewed.
