Help Paul & Karen Demers medical costs & expenses

Karen and Paul Demers have had an incredibly difficult year, Paul has been out of work since January battling severe anxiety and panic attacks. Following many months of doctors appointments and sickness, on 10/3 he was diagnosed with colon cancer. After surgery to remove a large tumor it was determined to be stage 3 cancer. He will need chemo which will keep him out of work for an extended period of time, and to make matters worse he was denied short and long term disability.

In addition to this Karen was recently diagnosed with a rare form of glaucoma caused by her diabetic retinopathy. She has started weekly treatments in Burlington. She has been a hairstylist for 34 years and this is impacting her work schedule. With all of her appointments and caring for Paul she will be working less.

These two people are the most generous, loving, supportive people I know and they truly don't ever want to burden anybody.

I know times are tough for everybody nowadays but please, if you are able to help our family would greatly appreciate it, at the very least sharing and spreading this to others would help immensely also. I just want to show good people that they're loved and cared about and to take as much stress and worry away from them as possible.
