Help Paul Kelly Honor Shawn's Memory

My wife, Shawn Marie, struggled with the disease of alcoholism. She was engaged in recovery and I was committed to that. I worked long hours so she didn't have to work. I wished for her to focus on recovery, and I'd take care of the rest. Over the course of our marriage, I have worked hard to build a strong credit history, because she wanted a house someday. We had been living on that credit through her struggle. She was preparing to go back to work mid-July, and I was excited to be getting life and finances back on track.

Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on June 19, after a devastating fall directly influenced by drinking. It was just her and I. I have nothing to fall back on and my partner in this life is gone. I am near ruin, and I have no way to save myself. I want to stay in Augusta and be close to our children and family. I need help to do that. I'm humbly asking for your help. There has been an incredible outpouring of support from those who loved her and who love me and our children. These folks often say, 'if there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to call on me.' I'm calling on all of you now to be as generous as you can be in this economy. Tell your friends about Shawn. Tell your families. My wife would have done anything to help anyone, even strangers. Please pay it forward as a way to honor her life of service to others.
