Help Paul Lind fight stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer

Hi everyone.

We (Kayla and Briana Lind) are making this go fund me to help with the medical costs of our father, Paul Lind III, to fight against his stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer.

Here is some back story:

In December, during a regular day at work, our dad hurt his back. He went to be seen and it seemed to be just a basic injury that would get better on its own. Fast forward to January, and he was still in extreme pain and unable to work. This led to more appointments and more testing until they eventually found he had an extremely high PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen). From here, after more scans and tests, they diagnosed him with stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. This explains the extreme bone and joint pain he has and also why his back injury wouldn’t heal.

Currently our dad is undergoing radiation treatment. He just did 10 days of radiation and will see his doctor in May again to see where they are at with how it’s working. He is unable to work due to the extent of the cancer and the pain it has been causing him. He’s struggling to walk and move about easily. Medical bills, as well as household bills are piling up fast.

If you know our family, you know we have had it rough with losses of loved ones. If we can do anything to help our dad fight this fight as long as possible, to get as many days as we can with him, we will.

Metastatic prostate cancer, once in the bones, rarely has a chance for remission. At this time, they are doing what they can to help slow the spread further, help his pain, and give him a quality of life.
