Help Paul Lockett during a difficult time
Donation protected
Hi, my name is josie and I’m fundraising for my dad Paul Lockett.
on Tuesday 13th December, my dad (a crane driver) was working his shift driving his crane, but when he went for his break, he slipped out of the cab of his crane due to it being icy. The fall was so severe he broke his neck and lost all feeling in his legs.
An air ambulance came to his aid and took him to Royal Tunbridge Wells hospital A&E resus department where they performed a CT scan which confirmed he had broke the C67 section of his spine. And another part of his spine has dislodged.
We are now waiting for him to be transferred to the royal college hospital in London for an operation that could save his life.
doctors say my dad is lucky to be alive but may never walk again.
my dad will not be home for Christmas and will be 200 miles away from us all as we live in wales and he is being kept in England.
he is out of work due to this horrific accident, so we are asking for any donation big or small to help him get through this tough time.
