Help Paula Forstner with medical expenses

Hello everyone! Our dear fearless health unit coordinator and friend, Paula Forstner, has spent the last two months in and out of the hospital with unexpected medical issues.

Paula got sick with a bad upper respiratory infection the last week of September. It developed into pneumonia and a pleural effusion which a course of antibiotics did not help. She also developed a paralyzed diaphragm making it very hard for her to breathe. Paula went home on oxygen but still wasn’t doing well and in a few days was back in the hospital with a massive pulmonary embolism. The doctors said she was lucky to be alive. She is still requiring oxygen and we’re not sure when she will be well enough to return to work.

If you know Paula you know that she is a workaholic and it has been hard for her to be off. We would like these funds to help her with her medical expenses and to cover her bills while she is recovering. She means a lot to many people, so please help us support her.
