Help Paula make her Academic Trip to Italy come true!

Hello, I'm Paula, a passionate young composer and oboist with a dream to share my music with the world. After years of hard work and dedication, I have specialized on contemporary classical music, and I recently began experimenting with the human voice and the expressive and conceptual possibilities of chamber operas.

In this regard, I am thrilled to announce that I was accepted as an active participant of the Puccini International Opera Composition Course 2024 from August 8th to 28th. I am also excited because my first chamber opera ¡VEN! was selected as a finalist in the Puccini International Chamber Opera Composition Competition 2023, and this year I have the incredible opportunity to have it premiered on October 19th. Both events will take place in the beautiful city of Lucca, Italy.

This is a dream come true for me, but I am reaching out to you for support as I navigate challenging financial hurdles because of the economic situation of my country, making it difficult for me to afford travel expenses like the plane ticket, food and accommodation during my stay in Italy.
